Thank you for the comment!

I suspected this article might be a little controversial and am delighted to see you agree with the content.

I heard of a mining operation in which the employees went on strike. Management repeatedly stated they could not meet the demands, financially, and allowed the union to review the books. The employees did not accept those facts and continued the strike. The mine closed and was subsequently bought out. The employees certainly lost out in that deal as they would (could) not accept the facts.

I loved this post. I do agree. I have seen this with competitive children's hobbies. People have made statements that the failing company they work for has no right to lay them off or ask them to work at another location (as an effort to save their job). I have so many examples that I would need to create an entire site for them. It is very disturbing. However, I believe that those who operate like this do lots of talking and never listen or learn. Those that listen, learn and work will win in the end. It will be very easy for children who are not raised with this attitude of entitlement to be a huge success. I believe that it will all work out in the end.
